wow! a lot of fun stuff this week. summer camp has begun which means the weekly field trips have begun. this week they went to stearns farm. there were a lot of animals and a goat that tried to eat alex's shirt. she had a great time. this week she gets to go to the aquarium. saturday morning started early for all of us because alex and i were doing the color run 5k. john was kind enough to drop us off and pick us up after. alex and i started off with some morning zumba - she was really getting in that - i wasn't very coordinated at that type of exercise, haha. then we began the 5k behind the science center with the mather in the background. the first zone was blue, then glitter, then orange, and pink and finally yellow. alex was bummed there wasn't green (even though there must have been packets of green at the end because we saw some on the ground.) we got a medal for finishing and more packets of color. i let alex throw around some yellow in the lot. i got some great pictures (wrapping my phone in plastic wrap was a good idea.) we saw carter and connor all three days this weekend - so obviously alex was happy about that - even if she wasn't happy about letting him win some races. on father's day, john started the day fishing - yay, he caught i think 5 catfish. then he was nice enough to spend part of his father's day going on a search for the TARDIS. woohoo, we found it! medina county built a tardis and is moving it around their parks systems every few weeks. thanks to some friends and hashtags on instagram we were able to easily find it. alex wore her rose tyler cosplay outfit and i wore my fez and brought my sonic screwdriver. that was awesome seeing a full size tardis. the playground is nice there too. then we found a local lunch place which was yummy for father's day lunch. later we went to bopey and norm's for father's day and anniversaries and some birthdays. alex chowed down on some ribs - she was in a food coma after eating so much, she loves ribs. and had a great weekend. we got a few things done in between all this as well.
