it was a busy week and cold and fun. alex went to a lot of taekwondo this week - she did double classes a couple of days so that she could help in class and she earned another star patch that i need to sew on to her dobak. then friday night was the home opener for monsters hockey. they won! yay, that was a good game. saturday was a cold morning at soccer. alex scored a goal - yay. it actually started snowing a little on saturday and later was a snow sleet sort of thing. we had hockey again on saturday and alex got to ride on the zamboni! she loved it - she said it was the "best hockey game ever." and a practice puck went over the wall while we were down by the ice waiting for zamboni time so she got another puck to keep. it was cool being down behind the walls and seeing some behind the scenes stuff. alex was announced on the loud speaker and was on the big screen - it was very cool. the monsters lost that game in overtime - oh well.
