it was another full weekend for us. friday night, alex had a playdate at emma's house where she climbed her first tree. i got a great picture of it. now she wants to go climb more trees. saturday alex had a double soccer game day, one right after the other. she did great and scored a goal in each game. she was exhausted after that. sunday we went to halloweekends at cedar point. it wasn't too overly crowded and we got quite a few rides in. alex's favorite is still the iron dragon coaster. she rode a new coaster this time, the blue streak, but didn't like it at all. it was quite bumpy. we also went on the sky ride for the first time - she said she liked it even though it was a little too high (i agree.) we were in line for the sky ride behind duji from the rover's morning glory radio program. john and i rode a giant swing ride that looked like a nice, easy carnival ride. as we were getting seat belted the ride operator said the ride was "legit" and oh my goodness it was scary. fun too, but quite scary. cedar point was all decorated for halloween with gourds and pumpkins and scary clowns and such.
