fun day with dad

john and alex had monday off together - i had to work. they went ice skating together in north olmsted. i guess the ice at the Q is much nicer than the local rec center. but they had fun and skated for quite some time. she is getting better. i believe alex got to enjoy some ice cream that day too. alex had her usual, busy week after that. this weekend we all went to see star wars again - what a fun movie. on sunday we cleaned and prepped for the week and cooked and watched some movies that alex's teacher lent to her: dolphin tale and dolphin tale 2. they were good movies, but wow they are tear jerkers. and today was supposed to be her first day back at art class since they moved buildings, but alas alex woke up sick in the middle of the night and isn't up for going to school. poor girl. hopefully she feels better soon.
