my birthday weekend

alex was sick all week so she missed a day of school and the entire week of activities. so today she is back at it with art class (in their new location) and taekwondo. this weekend was fun and full of activities though. since it was my birthday we had a full day on saturday and ate way too much. john gave me a great present of a personalized, signed comic book by brian vaughan - i love it, we promptly hung it on the wall. we then went out for breakfast at falls family - that was yummy. then we had a hockey game - we lost, but it was a close game. after the game we went to melt for dinner. and finally we finished up with ice cream at mitchells - yum. on sunday we had brunch for my family birthday over at bopey and norm's. the rest of the day was spent with laundry and making lunches and alex watched one of her movies on the big projector screen.
