we got a lot accomplished this weekend with cleaning and starting work on some props for alex's upcoming report. she's excited because she just got special permission to do jump rope club at school. she's been wanting to do that since last year, and it's only for 3rd graders. we also just found out on friday that she was the only person to sign up for the spring semester of art class :( so it's being dropped! poor art. so she decided to sign up for guitar lessons instead. luckily john has a guitar that she can use - hopefully it's not too big, but we shall see what the instructor says. on sunday, alex had a birthday party to go to at skyzone. she loves that place for parties; i think she spends all her time jumping into the foam pit. and apparently eating; i guess she had a lot of pizza, cookie cake and water. while she was at her party, john and i had a lovely meal at cheesecake factory. i am still full. and we got cheesecake to go; yummy. we also had time to make some yummy cheese and onion appetizer and watch the puppy and kitty bowl.
