Alex had a fun week. She had a field trip to Playhouse Square where they saw a science guy talk and give demonstrations on electricity - i think he's a bill nye sort of guy. alex said it wasn't very fun and they just learned, haha. but she did say she laughed a lot - i think she was just expecting to see him blow up bananas and such. then Alex had her Valentine's Day party at school. that's always fun and she handed out pokemon valentines and pokemon pencils. then that evening was alex's first guitar lesson. she used john's guitar (which is a little big for her, but still works) and she learned a few notes already. and she wants to practice a lot so that's good. on friday, alex was at daycare all day because there was no school and she had another valentine's day party there! she ate a ton of sugar and made flubber. she ate so much sugar that day she barely even wanted dinner. she had taekwondo this weekend as well: she's working on getting her tip on her red belt. and we went out for a valentine's lunch. alex and john have today off for president's day and i think they might just go ice skating again - alex is eager to try skating all by herself.
