Meg White

it was a pretty full week again for us. alex and i had dentist appointments mid week. we both did well - got x rays, alex got a fluoride treatment, she has all her 6 year old molars now, but still has a ton of teeth to grow/lose. then on friday, alex had her wax museum project at school. they've been working on their research and such for about 2 months. Alex's project was on Meg White, the drummer for the band the White Stripes. she was nervous, but she did great. she had good signage and she looked the part. she also said her speech well and spoke up. she is happy that it was over though and doesn't think she did all that great, but she did! then saturday she had a birthday party at a roller skating rink. it was a super windy day and the skate park was packed. she seemed to enjoy all the songs and games they did at the skating park. we also had not so much fun stuff this weekend like john's car in the shop and people hit my car on both sides with their doors! not fun. and sunday we did laundry and cooking and such. alex has been wanting to learn more about cooking and help with the laundry. so she cut all the tomatoes and avocados for me. she also did some laundry all by herself. she was a big help. she also managed to fit in some extra reading for right to read week.
