this picture makes it look like it was freezing out this weekend - well, it was chilly when it got later and the wind was blowing, but it was sunny and nice on sunday. saturday was cold at her soccer game and misty. she did score two goals (almost another) and was there to assist with others. she did a great job and her team won this week. she really gets in there and plays hard. she also had guitar and taekwondo this week. i finally hung up her red belt on the wall - she's had it about a month, but i had to add a space on the display to hang the belt. alex also had 3 field trips this week! end of school year they are really cramming in all the activities. she went on a visit to the intermediate school for one of the field trips. the second one was a walking tour of olmsted falls, complete with some history and ice cream. and the third was on lolly the trolly and the rocky river reservation. so it was a full week for her. sunday we filled up the pool so it can start warming up and got house work and yard work done. alex and john also planted the garden and john grilled out dinner. it was a lovely end to the weekend. and now alex is in her last week of third grade and today is field day!
