normal week, by our standards. everyone was super busy; lots of homework; and activities. it was the second week of soccer (and first week with her regular coach.) so practice is friday nights and then she had a game bright and early on saturday. it was raining, but they played through it. alex scored a goal :) then we got some stuff done and more homework on saturday. that night we had the annual clam bake for john's school. unfortunately, due to rain it got moved inside the school instead of lakeside, but i got to see john's office and where they are building/expanding the school. i was planning on trading alex my chicken for her clams after she tried one, but she loved them! she ate 2 bowls of clams - there were plenty so i got more than my share of clams as well. on sunday, alex had a lunch date with aunt molly and carter. they went to dairy queen, so they enjoyed some ice cream as well. aunt molly and alex then went shopping at the mall and rode those big stuffed animal things, haha. they had fun and then alex worked on more homework! she is doing well, but there sure is a lot of homework - john, too.
