after some confusion about whether or not we were going to have a game and/or practice this week, soccer started! alex had practice on friday night with a substitute coach. they are on a bigger field this season with not enough players. but then at her soccer game on saturday morning, there were a lot of players (i have no idea where they all came from.) but that's good, because that's a lot of running especially if you don't have any sub outs. alex is #1 this season and did a fine job. she also had guitar and tae kwon do this week. this weekend, grandpa jerry and uncle john came to visit. we ordered in food on friday since alex had soccer practice. we all enjoyed her game and then lunch after. john and alex had a lot of homework this weekend so we didn't do any big activities, but school always comes first. then on sunday after grandpa jerry and uncle john headed home, i took alex to get her hair cut. it's really short, but it looks cute and it'll be easier to brush. john worked on homework all day and alex and i got some cooking and cleaning done. another busy weekend.
