dad and kids camping trip

alex had a week full of tests! seriously, i think she had a test every day this week - looks like she did great, too. she had guitar and taekwondo (and she helped with an extra class since sir was out of town.) she missed soccer this week because of dad/kids camping weekend! it sounds like they had a great time. they went on the canoeing trip this year - i guess it was longer than they expected, but fun. and they shot bb guns and ate some yummy food (including donuts warmed over the campfire and s'mores.) there was a rope swing that looked like fun and alex made paracord bracelets for all her friends and the camping neighbors they met. it looks like they had beautiful weather and john got to hang out with his friends as well. i spent the weekend eating pizza and sewing (alex's eliza dress for hamilton.)
