alex was lucky enough to get an extra long weekend - she had friday off as well as monday. she started guitar back up this past week. i guess that went well and there's only 3 kids in her class i think. soccer starts this week. alex spent friday at kidsfirst all day finishing her homework and hanging out with her friends. that evening she went with me to crocker park to enjoy dinner and some music and fun. she didn't go inside AG, but she saw it lit up from the outside. saturday, alex really wanted iHOP so we drove out there and waited quite some time for pancakes! they were yummy though and alex really enjoyed it. and we ran into one of my girlfriends so i got to meet her little one finally. on sunday, we enjoyed lunch out and shoe shopping! we got a lot done, too. we hung up a bunch of art and moved things around. labor day, we went out to Prayers from Maria. it's a field of sunflowers in support of a little girl who died of brain cancer. it's beautiful and only in full bloom for about 3 weeks. we tried to go last year, but ran out of time. alex brought her camera and took a bunch of pictures as well. then we went over to bopey and norm's for a labor day lunch. every weekend should be 3 days :)
