it was a busy week (like usual.) john had school and homework. alex had school and homework and activities. she had so much homework one night we couldn't even make it to taekwondo! but she is doing very well in school and getting the hang of this year (with tests and tons of homework and advanced math and so on.) in addition to her normal activities at night, alex studied her korean terms all week to prepare for her tip test on saturday. john worked late on friday night and had homecoming saturday night. alex studied and then had her tip test saturday morning followed by a soccer game. she did great at her tip test and has one more tip to get before her black belt test. we did start running this weekend - one of the things she has to do for her black belt test is run a mile under a certain time, plus a bunch of other stuff including writing 10 papers! she did great at her soccer game as well (and it is getting cold at the fields.) we bought our pumpkins this weekend and alex is painting on the two small ones (we'll carve the big one later.) sunday we did laundry and crafting and john smoked some of the salmon he caught in new york.
