alex didn't have school on friday, but she had triple homework (or so) to compensate. she went to school with john and while he was substitute teaching, she sat there and did her homework. the afternoon she got to hang out with a really nice woman john works with - alex and her have fun together. ahl hockey season started this weekend. we had tickets to the friday night monsters game. they raised the banner (calder cup champions) before the game. there's a lot of new guys, but we had fun and they won. saturday, alex had a soccer game. she scored a goal and i believe they won their game. her friend andrea was on the other team and you could hear them giggling when roughing each other on the field haha. sunday we went to cedar point to enjoy HalloWeekends. they have pumpkins everywhere and fun monster animatronics. there weren't a ton of people there either so the lines were reasonable. we got in some fun rides, ate some delicious french fries and enjoyed the decorations on a beautiful, warm day.
