alex had a cold most of the week so we didn't make it to taekwondo - i don't like other kids showing up sick so we do the same. between the cold and homework alex needed the time anyways. friday night, alex and i went to the mall again after picking up my new glasses. we enjoyed some food and a little bit of shopping. saturday night was hockey - it was superhero night at the Q. alex dressed up as wonder girl and there were characters there for pictures and the giveway (for kids only) was a monsters cape which was a lot of fun. sunday was cousin abbey's birthday and santa was there. connor and abbey wanted nothing to do with santa. carter talked his ear off and alex was nice and polite. she didn't think of anything to tell him she wanted for christmas - i can't tell if it's because she knows he's fake or she just hadn't thought of anything to ask him specifically for yet. yesterday, alex had lacrosse again. she seems to really enjoy it, which is great. and of course she was busy with homework all weekend, but she's getting it done.
