it was a fun week here. friday night it was trick-or-treating at the Q for the Monsters game. alex was dressed up as Hermione Granger and as she was walking the concourse for candy she was asked to participate in the costume contest on the ice after the 1st period. she didn't win, but she still got a shirt and had fun being down on the ice and she did a great job talking into the microphone saying who she was dressed as. saturday she had a soccer game. she did great on defense and she scored a goal. monday was halloween. alex had a parade at school and a party at both school and at daycare. i guess she ate a lot of candy and desserts. then was trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. john took her around while i stayed home to hand out candy. they looked great together (john was nice enough to dress as harry potter.) i guess they got a lot of compliments and alex got a lot of really good candy - yum.
