alex received her report card - this is the first year where the academic classes give letter grades (art, gym and music still give grades like developing and secure)...and alex got straight As! yay. this also earned her another academic achievement start for her tkd dobak. friday night i had an eye appointment so alex went with me. my eye doctor is attached to the mall so we then went to eat mall food - the sushi there is delicious and alex loves the pretzel dogs from auntie anne's. we were hoping to ride the giant stuffed motorized bears (or some other animal) but they took them out of the mall and are setting up for santa. but we shopped instead and alex got some fun shopkins. saturday was the last soccer game of the season (and technically it was a make up game) - alex scored a goal :). sunday, john and alex went out with some friends and looked for pottery and such at an old native american site and then they grilled out. they had fun and alex says she found the best pieces of pottery. monday, alex started a learn to play lacrosse class. it was her first class, but she had fun and wants to keep practicing and sign up for more.
