alex decided she wanted to be in band this year. she wants to play the flute. so i got to go to a parent band meeting and learn all about what she needed and shop vendors. so i managed to set up a flute rental and ordered her a book and music stand. phew, band starts in a couple of weeks. also, newspaper starts this week for alex. lots of early morning activities for her this year. saturday we cleaned and worked on projects and alex started unpacking halloween decorations - yay. sunday, we went to halloweekends. it's probably the last visit of this year (even though i'm hoping to maybe fit in one more quick visit.) we renewed our passes so we got funpix (ride photos and photographer photos) and fastpasses for the day. it was great that we could pass up the lines and ride some bigger coasters. alex is riding some bigger ones, but she's not brave enough for the big-big ones yet - so it's nice when we can walk right on the ride and she waits right there for us.
