alex started newspaper club this week. she is doing a piece where she asks people in the hallway a question. she is asking them "what book that isn't already a movie would you like to see made into a movie?" i like that question. she says land of stories. i would say ready player one, but they are already working on it! alex also had a lot of testing this week - she seems to have tests almost every single day this year, but her grades are looking great so far. the weekend was relatively low key. alex had a play date planned with grace on saturday. then danica and alex wanted to surprise grace (who has moved to a new school) by meeting up at the ice cream place. so the play date turned into all 3 of them having ice cream, playing with nerf toys at our house and then going bowling. alex had a great time. in fact, i didn't see her much on sunday because she was on the phone with her girl friends all day long practically.
