it was a full week for our house, but i guess that's not entirely unusual for us. alex started writing her piece for the newspaper club - "hallway talk" is her column. she always had lots of tests this week - that seems to be the theme this year: more studying, more tests, but less written homework. then john got appointed interim co-principal! so he's going to be even busier than normal doing his job plus another half of a job while getting another masters - wow! alex and i met with a friend for a junk food dinner at suds friday night. the indians were playing and we got 3 different apps to all share - it was delicious and really bad for us. saturday john had work so alex and i worked on some projects, she vacuumed and we watched a little tv. sunday we got in one last visit to cedar point. because of the weather some of the big coasters were closed, but we still had fun and alex still got her ice cream and we all got those yummy french fries. on monday, alex started band. her flute was waiting at school for her. she learned how to put it together and make some sounds and she practiced last night at home.
