wicked

another full week for us! during the week alex was all stressed about some test where if she got at least 55 out of 60 she would get a donut! she didn't want everyone to see if she didn't get one, but she did and enjoyed that reward yesterday. friday night, i had an eye appointment. alex really enjoys those because after my appointment we always go eat at the mall food court. so she gets her auntie anne's pretzel dogs. and we'll have to go back once my new lenses are ready so she's happy. on saturday, alex and i went to wicked. they were all decorated for christmas (so was the mall, but the playhouse was prettier.) alex got a giant brownie to eat before the musical started. we were so close to the stage and the show was great. we had a very nice time. sunday, we had plumbing problems (well, we came home on saturday to find we had plumbing problems actually.) so on sunday, we scrambled to find a plumber (our normal guy was out of town, but luckily he recommended someone really good.) john had to leave for church and then to work. so the plumber came out and fixed the main sewer drain - thank goodness! then john got home, we got cleaned up and headed over to jessica and ben's for abbey's birthday party. so it was a full weekend to say the least :)
