for school last tuesday, alex's class all went to see Wonder. i guess she really enjoyed it. then they also got a tech day with lunch in the classroom - meaning they were allowed to be on their phones or ipads or whatever personal device they have. on wednesday we went down to Cincinnati to see grandpa jerry and uncle john. we had a lovely time there with nice weather. aunt mary hosted thanksgiving - with help from david and susan and kroger's. alex got to hang out with david and susan's kids which she enjoys. we got plenty of food and a nice visit with everyone. we drove home on friday and alex and i relaxed and started getting some stuff done. saturday, we all went to Castle Noel. it was us 3, plus uncle matt and family, and aunt jess and family! they have a lot of christmas movie props there and elaborate window displays. then at the end you climb up the stairs to see Santa (just like in the Christmas Story) and then you get to go down the actual slide! it was fun. then we got a lot of work done including john and alex put the lights out and we got out more christmas decorations and other super fun stuff like laundry :)
