back to work and school after a very nice, very busy break. we did lose aunt Lani on Christmas eve; we will miss her, she was well loved and we're grateful for all the time we got to spend with her. we started break by celebrating christmas and birthdays with grandpa jerry and uncle john. then straight into christmas eve at aunt molly's. christmas morning was at home with cinnamon rolls, stockings and presents. then in the afternoon we went over to bopey and norm's with that whole side of the family for christmas. the next day, john alex and i went to a monsters hockey game. they lost, but we still had fun. there was a nickelodeon teenage mutant ninja turtles theme. the next day, alex and i went out to eat in crocker, took some fun pics with the lights and saw mary poppins (it was a really cute movie.) that weekend, we celebrated connor's birthday. and i feel like we did a bunch of stuff then too, but i can't recall exactly. alex's birthday is on the first, and we had a fun doctor who theme. she and i dressed up as the 13th doctor and made galaxy cupcakes and john made delicious pizza (in our new oven.) later in the week, alex and i ran some errands, had a giant soft pretzel at merwin's wharf, and took some more fun pictures. john was back to work by this time. then on friday, alex and i went snow tubing! we had so much fun. we got there early and had the place to ourselves for almost an hour. we will definitely go there again. then over the weekend we celebrated emmett's birthday. lots of fun was had over break and now we're back to homework and coding and work and photo club and GEMS club and lacrosse clinic starts very soon.
