we had a really full weekend. alex had winter lacrosse on friday night while john and i went out to eat nearby. saturday, alex had coding class and then we all went to aunt lani's celebration of life. bopey had pictures all around of lani with family and friends to look at. it was a lovely party and i'm sure lani would have loved it. sunday, we went to the music box supper club to see the sunrise jones perform beatles songs and eat brunch. the band did such a fantastic job and we had a great time. i just love being near the water as well. it was cold, but nice and warm inside. monday was a little stressful. on the way home sunday we noticed some terrible sounds coming out of my car. so firestone had my car all day yesterday fixing a bunch of things, but mainly the brakes. at least that got done and now we're prepping for record breaking low temperatures. alex is supposed to have a field trip this week, but i'm guessing that will be cancelled along with school.
