alex had a long weekend. friday was a teacher in service day and monday was president's day. she had plenty to do though; she worked on an essay all weekend. she had hoped to do legos or something, but that essay took up a lot of time. she did help me make bowtie cookies for my father's day brainstorm today; and by help, i mean she did everything except the final step of icing them. she had lacrosse on friday night; winter lacrosse is almost done and then spring season will start soon. there was no coding on saturday because all the teachers and backup teachers were out. and on sunday, alex and i had miss saigon. we haven't had a show in months. it was a really good show with a great story. we had never seen it before and it really did have a giant helicopter in it! today, alex has a field trip to the historical society; it's a make up field trip from when it was so cold out school was cancelled. she's excited for it.
