field trip, lacrosse, coding, and cooking

alex had her field trip to the historical society. she enjoyed it; said her tour guide was kind of boring. but other than that she had a good time. she had her last winter lacrosse practice on friday, but the spring season should start up shortly. coding was back this week. she spent a lot of time this weekend working on her paper again. i'm not a writer (that's more in john's lane) but i guess she's improving. other than all this, we cleaned (alex did a thorough job of cleaning her room) and watched some cooking shows which always inspire alex to make something. so this weekend she made sourdough pasta and then cooked it in a garlic butter sauce with shrimp. it was so delicious.
