lacrosse banquet, band concert, baking

alex had her end of year lacrosse banquet last tuesday. the girls always have so much fun together and dress so nice (the boys just show up in gym clothes.) they show a photo slideshow of all the teams and this year they all did their team chant when it was their turn on stage. it stormed like crazy when we were there which was interesting in a glassed up cafeteria. it was a nice potluck and alex and the other two all stars were recognized individually on stage by coach. then thursday alex had her last band concert of the year. these songs weren't recognizable, but she did a great job. and she made it into symphonic band next year (which is the higher group.) we attempted to fill the pool this weekend, but the chipmunks chewed too many holes in it to repair so we gave up on that one (we tried our hardest to repair all the holes.) sunday, while i cut and ironed fabric and john was at graduation, alex made a cheesecake! she made the crust and everything. it was delicious. then i found out late sunday night that the school lacrosse camp was starting on monday. so i signed her up real quick. so she has that the first part of this week along with more map testing.
