back to school

well, it's back to school for everyone today. alex has been really excited though, and eager to see her teachers and friends again. this morning was really smooth, she was a chatter box and let me leave without a second look - yay. she was even awake and alert this morning and willing to wear the clothes i picked out for her. we'll see how tired she is at the end of the day though. other than that, we had a nice weekend of hanging out by the pool, crafting, and making mud "soup" with her gardening tools.
