geez, finally the weekend - it took a long time getting there this past week. as most of you know we lost lonnie to the fight of parvovirus this week - but as far as alex knows he found his first family and went to stay with them. she took it pretty well, under the pretense that we will find the perfect puppy for our family, but it was still a very very long difficult week. anyways, friday night finally came and we had girls night (since john had plans) so we got fast food and watched a movie. saturday we had dinner at bopey and normy norm's for tom's birthday - happy birthday, tom. of course, alex was exhausted (no nap) and wouldn't eat the lasagna for dinner (no surprise there) but filled up on salami appetizers and patiently waited for chocolate cake for dessert. then sunday was all play. and we had halloween costume try on time - she's going to be the cutest alice ever. oh gymnastics went well on saturday too - she went upside on the bars a couple of times again this week (miss kim is really good at slyly getting them to do things they don't want to before they even notice what they're doing).
