yes, i'm a day late on writing this post - i've been crazy busy attempting to make whales :). anyways, alex finished her first week back to school, and yes she's in a classroom with dawson. we've been busy painting alex's room - the beach room. it's getting there, and her new bed should arrive this week (thank goodness, she's too tall for her current bed). and we had girls' weekend! yay. john went for a quick weekend to canada so it was just alex and me (well, lonnie and chubby are boys but we weren't counting them). we started the weekend out with mcdonald's, of course. saturday, we went to pick up our veggies and fruits from the farmer and got some bonus honey and eggs (yum). then we met up with some more girls (bopey and friend sarah :)) for some lunch at the cheesecake factory (alex loved loved loved the painted murals and glass lights) and then went to see smurfs in 3d. we later got some pizza from the "pizza man" and watched some phineas and ferb. we finished up the weekend by trying to clean up a tad before john got home and eating some veggies and such since we ate junk all weekend.
