daddy-daughter camping weekend

i was at home sick all weekend while john and alex were on their daddy-daughter camping weekend. it sounds like they had a great time and the weather was lovely (really cold at times, but still better than last year.) alex brought along her rainbow loom, which i guess was a big hit among all the kids and they all gathered around making bracelets. she also brought along her bow and arrows and her red ryder bb gun. and she is strong enough now to ready the gun and she's a good shot. she showed me a few shots when they got home on sunday and she's good. and when we got to daycare this morning and miss terry asked alex how camping was and the first thing she told her was she got to watch Teen Beach Movie in the car on the way there and back! haha, she had a great time camping.
