we made it thru another halloween. alex had a great time and really loved her costume. apparantly other princess leia's at school were complimenting her costume. friday, she had holiday parties both at school and at daycare. she was so excited and had so much sugar throughout the day. and she didn't even get food on her white gown - although she did get some orange marker on it, but that's not too shabby. friday night, john had to work late and alex and i prepped the pumpkins. i carved one of the pumpkins into an old school stormtrooper and alex painted the other pumpkin like a new school stormtrooper. we got several compliments on halloween. saturday was the last game of fall soccer season. it was a make up game, but that wrapped it up. thank goodness; it's getting too cold at the soccer fields. but alex loves it. saturday night was trick-or-treating. john took alex out around the neighborhood. he was even wearing his "#1 dad" shirt with a picture of darth vader on it. alex made several trips around the neighborhood before sitting down to hand out candy the rest of the night. we had the fire pit out front so i could sit there and hand out candy while they were walking around. it was lovely. alex even got blizz into his yoda hat and snapped a really great picture of it.
