hockey, being good, abbey's birthday

alex had a good week at school. they had a surprise safety drill - the kind where they pretend like a gunman got into the school and they have to hide and get to safe places. one of alex's friends got separated from the group and alex, while being safe, spotted her. she earned a "caught being good" ticket for that. then she earned another one this week for doing the right thing in music class when noone else was. she had a full week of drawing and taekwondo, and cleaning up her stuff. on friday night, even though we were all tired, we went to the hockey game vs. the grand rapids griffins. that was a really good game - they won in the final shot of the shootout. and since they won we got free iced coffee - yum. on saturday, we went over to bopey and norm's for abbey's 5th birthday party. all the kids got along well and we had a lovely time. and sunday was spent getting stuff done.
