we are going to be busy, busy and more busy this year. alex has had a ton of homework every single day and weekend. she finished up her homework first thing saturday morning. friday night, alex and i went out for dinner and some basketball and bowling at suds (well, she played while i enjoyed my beer.) then she cleaned up the family room since we had someone stopping by for an estimate on our house. saturday, alex cleaned her room! we didn't even ask her to do it, but she went up to her room and cleaned it and organized it and threw away a bunch of stuff - it looks amazing. john started his masters and worked on writing papers and forum responses all weekend long! i cleaned and started cutting fabric for a project. yesterday, we had someone come over to replace john's windshield. unfortunately, it's a rust problem and it's not worth replacing so it looks like we're in the market for a new car now too. guitar starts this week for alex and possibly soccer (not sure yet, haven't heard from the coach.) and the dentist and, of course, more homework :)
