alex had another lacrosse game on friday. it was an away game at westlake and they won! she was in the game a lot, but didn't see much action. it doesn't matter though, you could tell she was having fun and making friends. grandpa jerry and uncle john came up for a visit this weekend. they got to see the lacrosse game and then we went over to crocker to eat. they got to see the outside of ag and eat at vieng's which is always delicious (we tried going to cheesecake factory, but they were packed. saturday, alex did all her homework which took her most of the day. we went out for breakfast and lunch and were so stuffed for dinner that we ordered a late meal for delivery. uncle john got to visit with one of his friends from college who lives nearby. sunday, we had an early lunch and uncle john and grandpa jerry started their trek home. then we began work on the yard - well, alex and john did a lot of yardwork and cleaning while i worked on alex's costume and a fun little box for blizz. john mowed the lawn and then helped alex dig up her old palette strawberry garden (it was in need of replanting and new soil.) they plan to build a new raised bed and plant the garden there. they also cleaned up the porch and swept so that we could let blizz out there while we enjoyed dinner on the screened in porch. i do believe blizz enjoyed himself :)
