alex was on spring break all week. but don't worry, she had a lot of homework to fill her time. she brought her work to daycare every day and finished it all by friday. sounds like she had some fun at daycare, even though a lot of her friends were on vacation. she had lacrosse practice as well; she was supposed to have extra practices, but the weather had other ideas. friday night was an indoor lacrosse practice for alex, so while she was there john and i went out to eat together in a local place. after practice we made a quick visit to see a couple of her cousins which doesn't happen that often anymore. then we spent most of the weekend cleaning and cooking. we did dye some easter eggs on sunday! alex did all the work and they turned out very pretty - she still needs to add the emoji stickers though. and now alex is back to school with homework and lacrosse. her team had their first game of the season last night: well, there are so many girls on the team that they split them into two teams so they could all get playing time and last night was the other half team's game. alex went to watch and they won their game. alex's first game is supposed to be thursday, but the weather is not looking good so far.
