lacrosse was rained out a lot this past week. and by the end of the rains, the ground was a soggy puddle mess. this week should be better for getting in a couple of games. the rain did stop by the weekend and john and alex worked really hard to get the gardening done. they planted a backyard raised bed (that they built), a front yard raised bed (that they built) and a side garden. they look great and we're all very excited. i worked on setting up the porch a little for hanging out in the summer plus a little bit of crafting. saturday night, we got to hang out and we watched gremlins. alex hadn't seen it yet and it's been a really long time since john and i have seen it. it was fun to watch and alex liked it. we also played around with some snapchat filters and took some funny pictures. alex is getting close to the end of the school year and john is starting up a new class this week. and we're all hoping to see warmer weather soon.
