Alex had a lot of game play this week in lacrosse. she even assisted a goal! she wants to try some different positions and complains that she doesn't get the ball enough, but she's learning and she's making friends and she's getting in there and more aggressive. at yesterday's game, she knocked the ball out of a girl's net, which was a great play. she's enjoying it and wants to play again next year. she's almost done with this season and at last night's game, coach gave each of the girls a lacrosse necklace! it was unexpected and really nice - she's wearing it today. saturday was john's big fundraiser for school, so alex went over to aaron and mildred's for the night. they went out to flipside and had burgers and milkshakes. they took the dogs on a walk and did some crafts and watched movies. alex had a great time hanging out with them. sunday was mother's day of course. alex made me some gifts and wanted to do some chores for me and they got me a cast iron wok. it was a lovely day. they went over to bopey and norm's for dinner (i stayed home because my back hurt so bad from moving sand on saturday.) alex got to go bounce at the neighbor's house and said the dessert at bopey's was delicious. today, she is headed to a field trip at swings 'n' things.
