the end of the school year gets really busy with activities and tests and projects and all sorts of stuff. alex had a field trip last week to swings 'n' things. they had to do some math worksheets and then they had free time. alex did not enjoy the water boats and getting wet, but she did enjoy being with her friends. she had the last regular lacrosse game of the season. coach gave all the girls a lacrosse necklace and a certificate. it was really nice and alex has been wearing the necklace every day. this weekend, alex had a lacrosse tournament. olmsted falls had three different teams there so every player got a lot of game time in. alex played three games with almost no game breaks. she had a great time and had her best games so far. her team lost each game, but she had lots of game action. she also enjoyed hanging out with her team mates between games at their tent and eating snacks. the day was overcast so we were not good about sunblock and we all got very sun burnt. that night we had carter's birthday party. we were all exhausted and sun burnt, but it was nice to see carter open his presents and he always enjoys seeing alex. monday, alex had field day at school. i guess that means a kickball tournament, ice pops, temp tattoos and more games in the afternoon. a friend's mom sent me a picture and it looked like alex was having fun.
