Baby Photo Contest

Back in April, i think, Michelle Fay saw that there was a photo contest that the Plain Dealer was holding and called us because she thought Alex was a shoe in - we, of course, agreed and entered a few pictures. A few weeks later I got a call from a reporter at the Plain Dealer saying that Alex was a finalist. This photo is the picture they chose to be a finalist - super cute. Here's the part of the article about Alex:

If 1-year-old Alexandra Fay can smile through a bad hair day like this, she can -- and does -- smile through anything.
Mom Kathi Fay of Olmsted Township said she had just finished treating Alexandra's dry scalp with baby oil when she took the picture.
"She's so happy. She's always happy, and she's such a character," said her mother. The blue-eyed, blond-haired Alexandra is the first child for the animator at American Greetings and her husband, John, a teacher.
