2nd yellow belt tip and first time sparring

alex had a full week with taekwondo. she earned her 2nd tip towards her next belt and is studying her korean vocab words: she is almost ready for her next belt test. she also sparred for the first time this week: she has done flag sparring before but this was the first real sparring with gear and all. she really liked it and wanted to take the gear home with her! she did well. also this week, alex's field trip was in-house at daycare and someone brought a bunch of animals in to the daycare. there was a lemur, a dancing groundhog and a snake that alex wore around her neck. i'm not sure what other animals may have been there, but those are the three i heard about from alex. she's really been enjoying summer camp at kidsfirst; today is dance class monday.
